NARRE Warren little athletes travelled to Ballam Park, Frankston, over the weekend to competed in the SMR Track and Field Region Championships.
All of the athletes put in a fantastic effort in their chosen events with many of them achieving personal bests and several of them winning medals.
Under-16 girls Stef Fenton and Kate Brown were there to encourage their fellow athletes throughout the weekend along with the great support of the athletes’ parents.
“It was great to see so many of our athletes competing so well and achieving such success,” club president Steve Fenton said.
Fenton also hoped they continued with their winning form at the State Track and Field Championships on 20 and 21 March at Olympic Park.
This Saturday 27 February the club is back at the Dandenong Little Athletics Centre for the final program of the season, week two of the club championships.
