POLICE are warning Endeavour Hills’ residents to keep a lookout in their neighbourhoods following a series of attempted daylight burglaries.
Police said the attempted burglaries have taken place in and around new estates including Voyager Way, Manuscript Drive, Expedition Street and Barrier Reef Circuit over the past month.
Leading Senior Constable John Melhuish said he had received three reports, with police expecting more to come in.
Sen Const Melhuish said in most of the cases, the offenders had gained entry to the property through a window.
“The estates that are being targeted are brand new. They all have townhouse arrangements,” he said.
Police are treating the incidents seriously and encouraging residents to report any suspicious activity.
Anyone with information should call Leading Senior Constable John Melhuish at the Narre Warren police station on 9705 3111 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
