FOR the past 12 months, the Hampton Park Bowls Club has been raising funds for the local CFA.
This was done by charging a dollar for every wrong bias bowl that was delivered.
During the summer months twilight bowls was played on Thursday evenings under lights.
Traditionally, on the last night, the club invites members, families and friends from the Hampton Park CFA to visit for a friendly game of bowls.
There were five rinks of bowlers and CFA members and one rink occupied by the children.
Snacks and finger food was supplied.
Gail Williams, representing the club, presented Ray Carr from the CFA, a fire extinguisher containing the money collected.
He thanked the club for a wonderful night and looked forward to coming again next year.
