POLICE are calling for witnesses after a five-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a man in parkland at Cranbourne last month.
He is described as being in his 20s, with a “goatee beard” and possibly red hair.
He was wearing green and gold earrings and riding a yellow bicycle at the time of the incident on the corner of Fairbairn Road and Cranbourne Drive at 5pm on 19 February.
Police said the girl had wandered off from the family home.
Anyone with information is urged to call Senior Constable Paul Holland at the Casey CIU on 9705 3111.
