Comedy festival promises a laugh

THERE’S no need to line-up for a laugh, with tickets now on sale for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow which comes to Casey on Friday 30 April.
With a smorgasbord of comedians ready to get the audience laughing out loud, residents are encouraged to book early to secure their tickets.
Casey mayor Lorraine Wreford said tickets had sold out fast in previous years.
The 2010 show features both new and established comedians from the festival’s international program, and performances ranging from stand-up, to musical and sketch comedy. The Comedy Festival Roadshow is a two-hour comedy showcase that highlights the range, diversity and quality of the best of the 2010 Comedy Festival with comedians performing extracts from their Comedy Festival shows.
The show will kick off at 8pm at the Cranbourne Community Theatre. Tickets cost $25 for adults and $20 for concession. The show may contain coarse language, sexual references and material that can offend and is not recommended for children under the age of 15.
