ENDEAVOUR Hills resident Sabrina Erdossy says she loves her new look.
The 13-year-old decided to shave her head last Friday for the World’s Greatest Shave in memory of her aunt who died from leukaemia four weeks ago.
Sabrina said it was a ‘tough time’ when her aunt passed away.
“This is my way of giving something back,” she said.
The Year 8 student at Gleneagles Secondary College did the big shave while at school with help from teacher Lynne Moller.
“There were about 200 students watching me,” she said.
“I was a little nervous as I had hair about 40cm long, but knew it was all for a good cause.”
Ms Moller said it was the first time a student had shaved their head at school for the fund-raiser.
“And it was also the first time a teacher had shaved a student’s head too,” she said.
Sabrina is hoping to raise at least $200 for the World’s Greatest Shave.
