Police said two groups of Asian men started fighting outside a club in Riverside Quay on Saturday about 3am, allegedly armed with weapons including knuckledusters, bottles and iron bars.
The large group then moved toward Southbank Promenade where another assault took place and a man, not involved in the initial altercation, was attacked.
Police said they used capsicum foam on the “aggressive crowd.”
