Epidemic of wasp stings

PARAMEDICS say it’s important that people who suffer severe allergic reactions to wasp stings call an ambulance.
Paramedics have treated nine people for bee and wasp stings in the past month, including a 28-year-old woman and her three-year-old son who were stung by numerous wasps in Endeavour Hills.
In March last year, paramedics were only called to one wasp sting case.
