FOUNTAIN Gate Primary School students were given a big surprise when a monster truck rolled into their school.
Teacher Margot Tregear said there was a “huge buzz of excitement” in the school grounds when the truck arrived at the school last month to mark the end of term.
“It was basically an end of term reward for the children for all the good work they had done from the start of the year,” Ms Tregear said.
The students got the chance to check out the 5000kg truck and also talk to the truck driver.
“The children absolutely loved it. They were in awe of it,” Ms Tregear said.
“They were thrilled and surprised by the volume when the truck started up.”
