MEMBERS of the Casey Response Unit have thanked the public for their help with investigations after a spate of theft from cars in Berwick estates.
Police charged three people with multiple counts of theft from a motor vehicle on 31 March after a number of thefts in the Chase Estate, Eden Rise Estate and on Moondarra Drive in Berwick between 16 February and 19 March.
Police charged a 16-year-old and 19-year-old man from Frankston South and a 19-year-old man from Oakleigh East.
They were released on bail to appear in court at a later date.
Police thanked the public for their help with the investigations and asked anyone with information about theft from cars or theft of cars to contact the Casey Response Unit on 9705 3168.
