GRADE ONE students at Hillcrest Christian College sent their own cardboard Flat Stanley on a journey around Australia last week.
The Clyde North students have been learning about Australia and its State and Territories.
As part of their studies, the children made a cardboard Flat Stanley, and just like the book, put it in an envelope to travel right around Australia by post.
The children will receive emails and photos of the trip from Flat Stanley along the way. They will also map his journey as he travels and await his return later in term two.
Flat Stanley will visit places including Tweed Heads, Townsville, Victoria Park and Broken Hill.
