TWO men were assaulted on the Princes Highway, Berwick, on Sunday 2 May after becoming involved in a road rage incident.
The two victims were travelling along the Princes Highway about 3.30am when they became involved in an altercation with the four occupants of a light blue sedan.
As a result, the driver lost control of the carand smashed into the signfor the Wilson BotanicPark.
The offenders pulled up behind the victims and assaulted them and demanded their wallets and phones.
The offenders were disturbed by a passerby, and left in their vehicle. They returned about 10 minutes later and continued to assault the victims.
One victim had his wallet stolen and the other wastaken to hospital with facial fractures.
