NOMINATIONS for the 2010 Victorian Training Awards are open.
The awards provide an opportunity for individuals, training providers and small businesses to be recognised for their contribution to the state’s vocational education and training system.
There are 14 categories at this year’s awards, which will be presented in September, including one new category for training providers – the Skills for Sustainability Award.
Skills and Workforce Participation Minister Bronwyn Pike said the nominations were welcome from students, apprentices and trainees, teachers and trainers, training providers, employers and businesses involved in training.
Nominations close on 13 May.
