POLICE on bicycles joined members from the Casey Traffic Management (TMU) for Operation Juno.
The highly visible Operation Juno was launched in the City of Casey in an effort to stop drivers ignoring the school zone speed limits.
Police targeted school zones in Narre Warren and Hampton Park on 27 May, with Senior Constable Allen Inderwisch from the Casey TMU saying police caught 19 drivers speeding and five not wearing a seat belt.
Police also found one driver under the age of 26 failing to carry a driver’s licence, one motorist using a mobile phone while driving, one driver who failed to change their licence address and one who didn’t give way at a roundabout.
