Teen time back in the city

THE City of Casey’s popular teenage school holiday program for 12 to 17-year-olds is on again.
This winter, young people can attend a basketball clinic, go to IMAX Cinema, take a tour of the MCG, create origami figures, go ice-skating and go karting and make magnets.
City of Casey youth and family services manager Colette McMahon said, each year the program of winter events provided opportunities for Casey’s young people to participate in a variety of fun and exciting activities.
“There’s such a wide range of activities; there really is something to suit every teenager.”
All activities are supervised by fully qualified City of Casey youth workers and buses will pick up and drop off at designated points across the municipality.
Parents or guardians must book and pre-pay at one of the council’s customer service centres to reserve a place.
Bookings for the first week of activities close on 21 June while bookings for the second week close on 28 June.
