THE white stuff fell on cue for the June long weekend opening at Mount Baw Baw, with 10 centimetres of snow covering the ground.
Local pair Nathaniel and Justin from Narre Warren made the day trip to frolic in the cool white powder.
This year’s snow season has the potential to be one of the best in recent years with low temperatures expected for the winter, says Victoria’s Environment and Climate Change Minister Gavin Jennings.
The snow resorts throughout the state attract local, interstate and international visitors every year.
