FIREFIGHTERS battled a blaze at a Narre Warren house on Sunday.
Narre Warren firefighters began tackling the fire in one of the bedrooms at the Song Street home when they arrived at the property at 7.31am.
Narre Warren Fire Brigade captain Paul Hardy said firefighters made an “aggressive attack” on the fire, and quickly bought it under control.
The crews from Narre Warren and Hallam spent 90 minutes ventilating the rest of the house.
“The crews did a great job in containing the fire to a single room, and saving the rest of the house,” Captain Hardy said.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
