CASEY Hospital has announced more training will be provided to its Emergency Department staff to improve communication with patients.
A spokesperson for Southern Health confirmed that the rotation of Emergency Department staff between Casey Hospital, Dandenong Hospital and Monash Medical Centre is set to be increased to broaden their experience.
“The rosters will be changed to improve specialist coverage,” the spokesperson said.
“Clear explanations will be provided to patients about Casey Hospital’s linkages to specialist care at Dandenong Hospital and Monash Medical Centre.”
