CASEY traffic police nabbed seven drivers speeding through school zones last week.
Police patrolled the school zones near Beaconhills College in Berwick, Hallam Primary School and St Peters College in Cranbourne on Thursday 15 July as part of Operation Juno.
The highly visible Operation Juno was launched in the City of Casey in an effort to stop drivers ignoring the school zone speed limits.
Senior Constable Allen Inderwisch from the Casey Highway Patrol that was involved in the operation said police also caught six motorists using mobile phones while driving and two drivers failing to wear seatbelts.
Police targeted the school zones for four hours.
