A 57-YEAR-OLD Berwick man was punched in the face on the Monash Freeway during a road rage incident last month.
Police said the Berwick man flashed his headlights at the driver of a silver hatchback after he cut in front of his car travelling in-bound at Endeavour Hills about 6.30pm on 15 July.
The driver of the hatchback started to yell abuse at the Berwick man and pulled alongside him and punched his car before stopping his vehicle in front of the victim. The offender got out of the car and approached the Berwick man and punched him, causing bruising and swelling.
He then continued to head towards the city.
Police described the offender as Caucasian, in his 30s, brown hair and wearing a blue jacket and blue pants.
