BERWICK TEC at Chisholm Institute of TAFE is a finalist in next month’s 2010 Victorian Training Awards.
Skills and Workforce Participation Minister Bronwyn Pike said 45 finalists would contest the awards at a gala dinner at the Palladium at Crown on Tuesday 14 September.
The awards are now in their 56th year.
“The quality of finalists for this year’s Victorian awards suggests our winners will be very competitive at the national event and this highlights the strength of Victoria’s cutting edge training system,” Ms Pike said.
“We will keep investing in more skills and training initiatives and infrastructure through our $91.2 million package of support committed in the 2010-11 State Budget and our $175 million Jobs for the Future Economy Action Plan.”
