FIREFIGHTERS from the Narre Warren Fire Brigade will be out and about this weekend collecting money for new equipment.
The members will rattle the tins on Saturday 28 August at the Fountain Gate Homemaker Centre, near Bunnings Warehouse, Spotlight and JB Hi-Fi from 9.30am to 3pm.
Firefighter Michele Sarkissian said residents could rest assured that their brigade would be as “vigilant and efficient” by responding to incidents, should they occur, from the Homemaker Centre.
Ms Sarkissian said the brigade members were looking forward to this weekend’s event, which is one of the biggest fundraising efforts for the year.
