STUDENTS and teachers at Heritage College got extra comfortable at school last month.
The Narre Warren South school celebrated Stressdown Day, to raise money for Lifeline.
Students were allowed to wear slippers to school with their uniform.
Students and teachers donned a range of bright coloured slippers and ugg boots.
The school raised $367.90 for Lifeline, through gold coin donations.
Grade 5/6 teacher Mrs Mason said the day was a great success.
“It is great to see students excited to come to school because of a fun event, which supports a good cause,” Mrs Mason said.
“Even our office ladies had a very stressed down day, wearing comfortable slippers to school.”
Middle school student Kaitlin said she wished she could wear her slippers to school every day.
