A day for dads

FATHER figures for students at Berwick Fields Primary School enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon last week to celebrate Father’s Day.
Prep, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students celebrated Father’s Day by inviting their fathers, grandfathers, uncles or other special family members to the Berwick school on Friday afternoon.
Berwick Fields Primary School’s Staci Biggins said the visitors were involved in a variety of sporting activities including hopscotch, soccer and skipping.
“The students also tried to make our visitors lool beautiful by giving them mini makeovers using coloured hairspray and gel,” she said.
“It is a great way to spend the afternoon, especially for our dads who don’t usually get to spend much time at school with their kids.”
