BUDDING actors at James Cook Primary School were bursting with excitement as they performed this year’s school musical, Beyond the Treetops.
The Endeavour Hills students entertained the audience with a singing and dancing extravaganza on Monday at the Drum Theatre in Dandenong.
Beyond the Treetops told the tale of children who climbed to the top of a tree and visited various lands including Monsterland, Dreamland, Lollyland and Sportsland.
School principal Kathy Sharp said the bright costumes and the students’ enthusiasm made it a night to remember.
