BERWICK Springs residents will soon be able to enjoy a new multipurpose community space after State Government funding was announced last week.
Narre Warren South MP Judith Graley said investing in the new Berwick Springs park pavilion was vital for the growing communities of Narre Warren and Cranbourne.
The project is a partnership between the State Government and the City of Casey, which contributed $830,000.
“Strong families need strong communities, which is why the government is investing $148,005 to ensure the community in Casey have space to get together,” Ms Graley said.
The grant, from the Community Support Fund, will extend the existing pavilion and includes a large multipurpose community room, additional kitchen and a store room.
