AN APOLOGETIC thief demanded cash from a service station in Berwick and said sorry as he took off.
The man knocked on the door of the service station on the corner of Princes Highway and Clyde Road about 12.50am on 9 September. He pulled out a knife and demanded the attendant pull out all of the $50 notes from the register.
The attendant told the man there were no $50 notes, and was asked to produce smaller bills. He apologised as he left with cash.Anyone with information is asked to contact Frankston Embona on 9784 5555.
