Artist David Brayshaw is pictured at last year’s Kevin Hill’s `Top Ten’ Australian Artists Art Show with one of his artworks, Outer Reef, Great Barrier Reef.VISITORS to Kevin Hill’s ‘Top Ten’ Australian Artist Art Show to be held in Casey next month, can expect to see an array of artistic talent.
Artists including John Dynon, Bill Ambagtsheer, Jack Absalom and Pro Hart will exhibit their work at the artshow on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 October at the City of Casey Council Chamber, Narre Warren.
The works are primarily traditional, realist or impressionist styles mainly featuring Australian scenes, wildlife and subject matter.
Others artists to exhibit their work include Max Mannix, Otto Kuster, Gary Myers, Ian Hansen, Werner Filipich, Kevin Best, Paul Margocsy, Jim Hough, David Brayshaw, John Bradley and Ramon Ward-Thompson.
Local Casey artist Ern Trembath will again join the exhibition as one of Kevin Hill’s selected artists.
Each year, one Casey artist is selected to join the exhibition as the Casey Guest Artist to show and sell their work and this year it’s Marie Warnecke.
City of Casey Mayor Lorraine Wreford said each year, hundreds of local residents and people from across Victoria travelled to Casey to see this magnificent art show.
“The City of Casey is proud to be the only Victorian city to host this cultural event which offers the community the opportunity to view and purchase a selection of quality original paintings from a variety of talented artists from around Australia,” she said.
“One of the exciting things about this art show is that many of the artists will be at the show displaying a full range of their work, meeting people, selling artwork and discussing their paintings.”
