HALLAM residents braved the rain on the weekend to enjoy good food, rides and activities at the St Mina and St Marina Coptic Orthodox Church.
The event raised money towards a new building for a growing church community.
Pastor Abanoub Attalla said about 75 families have joined the Hallam church’s parish in the past year and a new building was needed to support the increased demand. The fete featured a range of Lebanese foods, sweets, rides for children, face painting and an animal farm.
