Kinder cash comes

LOCAL kindergartens are set for a funding boost.
State Labor Member for Narre Warren South, Judith Graley announced this week that every Victorian kindergarten will receive a share of $3.2 million in extra funding for minor capital works.
A grant of $2300 from the Brumby Labor Government will enable local kindergartens to purchase and replace equipment and educational resources.
“The additional investment in better facilities for our kindergartens will assist children to get the best possible start in life,” Ms Graley said.
According to Ms Graley, the Narre Warren South electorate will particularly benefit from the grants, as local kindergartens provide a valuable contribution to an expanding region.
“This is particularly good news for my electorate of Narre Warren South, which is a growing area and home to many young families,” she said.
