BOOKWORMS at Kilberry Valley Primary School this week celebrated their achievements during the Premier’s Reading Challenge 2010.
With 913 participants, the school had the most students in Victoria competing in the challenge.
The challenge, now in its sixth year, aims to promote a love of reading and encourages students to read broadly. Narre Warren South MP Judith Graley visited Kilberry Valley Primary School to congratulate the students and teacher Ros Carabott. Ms Graley presented the school with a copy of Mirror by Jeannie Baker, which was signed by the Premier of Victoria John Brumby.
“They are the champion readers in Victoria,” Ms Graley said
