COUNTRY music star Adam Brand raised $1000 for flood relief at the Hallam Hotel last week.
He auctioned the shirt off his back for $1000 and women in the crowd went crazy when the woman with the winning bid took it off for him.
The show was part of Brand’s Comin’ Home Tour, the first Australian tour since he moved to the US last year. The Thursday night gig coincided with his 41st birthday.
He shared a lot of stories about his time in the US and his love for the land down under.
With 10 albums under his belt, Brand entertained the crowd with a little from each including hits such as Dirt Track Cowboy and Blame It On Eve.
He was supported by Sam Hawksley, a successful country artist in his own right.
Brand had been touring since 1 December and the Hallam Hotel show was in the final few days before he headed back to the US to start working on his next album.
