Club stumps up support

THE Berwick Cricket Club received a feminine touch last Saturday, as clubrooms were decked out in pink in support of the McGrath Foundation for Pink Stumps Day.
The fundraising event raised in excess of $1400, which will go towards the foundation.
Men and women, who were dressed in their finest pink and came to support the cause were treated to an afternoon tea and the Turf 3 Match played on the Arch Brown Reserve.
Dr Sally McDonald from the Berwick Lodge Medical Centre was guest speaker during the afternoon, providing relevant information to the women present regarding breast cancer, testing and treatment.
The Berwick Cricket Club thanked AJP Pest Professionals, Holmesglen Short Courses, Shanikas, Priceline Berwick and Terry White Berwick which provided raffle prizes, as well as club members who provided their support to the worthwhile cause.
