Taylah’s on the case

A YOUNG Berwick resident has a fun ride ahead after winning the City of Casey’s Super Sleuths competition at the Berwick Show in February.
Eight-year-old Berwick resident Taylah, whose winning entry was drawn from a pool of more than 100 completed entry forms won a $400 voucher in the competition and will use it to buy a new bike and helmet.
The Casey Super Sleuths competition asked children six questions about various topics on display in the council exhibit.
City of Casey Mayor Cr Shar Balmes said there were more than 100 entries in the Casey Super Sleuths competition, which is for primary and secondary school students.
She congratulated Taylah for getting all of the questions right and being the lucky winner of this wonderful prize.
Cr Balmes said the City of Casey was a major sponsor of the 2011 Berwick Show, and the council’s interactive exhibit was a good place to find out more about the services and activities available in the municipality.
