ABOUT 2000 students, families and members of the community celebrated Berwick Fields Primary School’s fifth birthday on the weekend.
The school had a number of activities, rides, food and face painting at the celebrations on Saturday.
Prep teacher and member of the community development committee Samantha Knights said the teacher dunking machine was the most popular feature of the day.
“It was hilarious, the kids really loved it,” she said.
“We had lots of rides, different jumping castles, slides, food stalls, temporary tattoos and markets. We had entertainment from students and professionals. We also had a raffle with a $4000 travel voucher. Most parents got involved and helped out. The whole day was a success.”
