Snowy horseman

By Emma Sun
A show for the whole family, the performers – humans and animals alike – will do incredible stunts that will have the audience hanging at the edge of their seats.
Troupe leader Rene ‘Sonny’ Gasser said the show would be two hours of full entertainment where the audience would not see anything other than endless performances.
“The audience is part of the show,” he said.
“Every time the doors open a new thing comes out. We have Hercules, our 20 hand high Clydesdale who has been with us for a long time and a lot of comedy because it’s a real live show where people live and experience it.”
Mr Gasser and his wife Barbara have a circus background, so it’s no surprise some activities will have a circus-like feel.
“I command the horses with my voice and they stand up on their back legs and do a whole variety of things,” he said.
“The audience will see some of the best stunt riders and we are also going to have Pam our sheepdog doing tricks.”
Catch the Horseman from Snowy River at Fountain Gate until Sunday 24 April at Corner Princes Highway and Brechin Drive, Narre Warren.
Performances are held on Fridays from 7.30pm, Saturdays from 2pm and 7.30pm and Sundays from 11am.
For bookings, call Ticketmaster on 136 100 or visit www.ticketmaster.com.au. Direct bookings can be made by calling the Horse Whisper Training Clinic on 1300 365 700.
