Community silver marked- Manager Dianne Wilson, past co-ordinators Sue Hall and Kathleen Pennicard cut the cake to

ABOUT 60 people gathered at the Hallam Community Centre recently to celebrate the organisation’s 25th anniversary.
Manager Dianne Wilson welcomed guests who included past and founding members, long-serving treasurer John Holman, presidents Christine Blackburn and Mary McGill, as well as many other committee members.
Guests looked at the display of photos, original newsletters and past programs and enjoyed two guest speakers.
Neil Lucas spoke about the history of the Mapleson Building and Foundation member of the Narre Warren Community Learning Centre Kay Vrieze spoke of the early years of the Community House, the first playgroups, and the expansion of services. Member of the 25 Year Committee Sue Hall said the event was a great success.
