MORE than 400 dance students donned their favourite colour for a gold coin donation to raise money for the Good Friday Appeal.
Dancers from Backstage Dance Academy in Narre Warren South held their fourth annual Good Friday dance fundraiser called Rainbow Week recently, collecting $550 for the cause.
Backstage Dance Academy principal Jessica Solomon said the dance students, aged two to 19, looked forward to the fundraiser each year and were happy to participate.
“We wanted to get involved in the Good Friday Appeal because it is a great cause for children,” Ms Solomon said.
“Everyone (from the dance academy) participated. It was fantastic.”
