BRENTWOOD Park Primary School held its first Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea last Thursday – with great success.
Twenty classes from Prep to Grade 6 took part by bringing a plate of food and inviting a special someone to visit.
The morning tea raised $2060.75 for the Cancer Council Australia.
Brentwood Park Primary School student representative council co-ordinator Megan Williamson said the school had many more parents attend than usual for fundraising events.
“It was a fantastic event, that was obviously very close to members of the school community because we had a great turn-out,” Ms Williamson said.
