CASEY aged care residents danced and joined in the sing-along to celebrate their first annual family day.
The Bones and Bodhran Bush Band entertained the 100 or so guests as residents tapped their feet in time with the music.
The aged care facility has been running for three years, providing nursing services and accommodation for the elderly.
Residents put on a craft stall, selling their homemade cards and woodwork pieces to family and friends. The day went really well, lifestyle manager Debbie Waldron said, and she was pleased with the event.
“Food was plentiful and it was a really good day. We also enjoyed an afternoon tea silent auction,” she said.
