SATURDAY’S multiplier stableford competition winners Adam Williamson (27) and Corey Porter (36) took out the event with a great score of 94 points, winning by 14 points over Colin Maclean and Bryan Delaney with 80 points at the Pakenham Golf Club.
The nearest-the-pin on the second hole went to Justin Pearson with the fifth hole going to Nick Sleep. Daniel Pantorno took out the eighth hole and the 14th went to David Wylie. The second shot on the sixth hole saw Blake Mc Grath the winner and the third hole second shot went to Colin Maclean.
The longest drive winners were Robert Bumbak (A Grade), John Nooy (B Grade) and Tony Bertolotti (C Grade).
The down-the-line ball winners went to combined score of 64.
Next week event is monthly medal and with a great week of weather forecast the course should be in fantastic condition.

The winner of the Sunday stableford competition was Simon Fay with 40 points from Nicholas Stewart with 39. The down-the-line balls went to 33.

The Monday competition winner was Robert Dowse having to great rounds of 39 points, runner-up Robert L. Edwards had 37 from Albert Campbell and Frank Carnovale narrowly beaten on a countback, balls down the line went 36 on a countback.

The Wednesday competition saw Robert Dowse win consecutive competitions with 42 points – winning by four pointss over Peter Diss.
Dowse, who some would say is playing off too high a handicap, also took out both nearest to the pins and the super competition, with balls down the line going to 34 on a countback.

No competition was held this week due to the ladies annual Trip to Cowra Golf Club, a great time was had by all ladies who attended the trip especially for Sue Menzel who took out the three-day competition.
Along with Sue, all the ladies let the hair down on the last night – more to come next week.

Rodney Vincent Night: Rodney Vincent is coming back to Pakenham Golf Club to entertain us again. The date is 30 July and tickets are $30 per head with finger food served at interval.
