Baby fever

By Lia Bichel
THERE was baby fever at Coles Eden Rise recently when the store launched its new range of apparel and products.
More than 150 parents flocked to the store about 6am on 23 June to be the first to get their hands on the new range.
The store had been expanded to meet the needs of a growing population of young families in Berwick, and the rest of the municipality.
It now includes pram friendly aisles and baby change room facilities, and new departments, including baby and nursery, home organisation, men’s, women’s and kids’ apparel and a Kodak photo processing booth.
Coles Eden Rise Store manager Tas Vais said the response has been overwhelming.
“A lot of families are really excited about the nursery range and the kids clothing,” he said.
“Coles (Eden Rise) has become a one-stop-shop for families. They used to have to drive places to purchase a cot then to anther place for groceries, now they can do it all at their local supermarket.”
Ms Vais said Coles Eden Rise was playing its part in a community preparing for Berwick’s baby boom.
Coles also has a Baby Club with over 700 members living in the local area.
To celebrate the re-launch, Coles Eden Rise hosted three days of family activities, with face painters, balloonologists and special opening discounts, including special offers for the Coles Baby Club members.
Coles Berwick is located in the Eden Rise Shopping Centre, corner of O’Shea and Clyde roads, Berwick. The store is open from 6am to midnight Monday to Sunday. For more information visit www.coles.com.au.
