It’s an easy call

SPORT 927 racecaller Adam Crettenden is winning on both sides of the fence in the world of harness racing.
Crettenden took time out from his busy calling schedule to take the reins behind Sarum Night in the Choice Hotels Pace at Cranbourne on Tuesday night – and they won.
Sent out a firming favourite, Sarum Night had little trouble holding the lead from his inside barrier draw and Crettenden rated the gelding superbly to score comfortably.
Sarum Night is trained at Romsey by his owner/breeder Geoff Dodd and has recorded eight wins and 11 placings from 33 starts.
The win was Crettenden’s 15th for the 2011/12 season and again underlines the talent of the popular young man.
His feats can be likened to Bruce McAvaney calling at the MCG on a Friday night and then donning the playing strip of the Adelaide Crows at AAMI stadium on Saturday.
Think about that.
