NEW rooms are ready for use by sporting clubs in Endeavour Hills.
The Chalcot Lodge Pavilion was opened last week. It features two changerooms, a canteen, storerooms, first-aid room, a room for umpires and public toilets.
City of Casey mayor Shar Balmes opened the pavilion, which represents a $600,000 investment in local sporting facilities for the community.
“Chalcot Lodge Pavilion is a facility for which the whole community can be proud and will assist the Endeavour Sporting Club to make sporting and leisure opportunities available to local residents,” Cr Balmes said.
“The City of Casey is committed to supporting the efforts of local sports clubs and their volunteers. We are working in partnership to increase participation and provide avenues for people to get involved in local sporting opportunities.”
