Models network on top fashion

IT WAS a night to remember in September with the Hampton Park Networking Group hosting the annual twilight market and fashion show.
Now in its fourth year, the fashion show at the Arthur Wren Hall in Hampton Park attracted more than 350 people.
Organiser Wendy Murphy was pleased that the poor weather didn’t stop Casey ladies coming out to support local businesses for a fun night out.
“What a huge success the fashion show was again this year. I wasn’t sure if it was going to be as busy as last year with the forecast of rain and the semi-final of Hawthorn and Collingwood. But I needn’t have stressed as it was even busier than last year!”
Ms Murphy said the annual market gives Hampton Park businesses a chance to show off.
“The fashion show is an opportunity to show what Hampton Park Businesses and the surrounding suburbs have to offer. The funds raised at this event goes towards the Hampton Park Festival.”
The catwalk was a show stopper.
“The show went smoothly thanks to everyone who contributed. In addition to the great weather, we had beautiful fashions that were provided by local businesses,” Ms Murphy said.
One hundred goody bags were given away free as well as door prizes and a barbecue donated by Bunnings in Cranbourne.
More than 90 local businesses donated vouchers, gifts and clothing to be given away on the night.
“We feel so fortunate to have so many dedicated business members and community volunteers to help support such a fun and exciting event. It was a tremendous effort from everyone and we will see you all again next year.”
The Hampton Park Networking Group is hosting a community festival on Saturday 26 November.
