Stab attack

POLICE arrested an 18-year-old woman following a stabbing near Village Cinemas at Fountain Gate last week.
Police said that about 9.05pm on 27 October, an 18-year-old man and his friends were leaving the cinemas and were near the Pancake Parlour when a woman yelled out to them.
When the men turned to go back towards the shopping centre, the woman pushed the man in the back.
Police said the man noticed the woman was holding a Stanley knife and felt blood drip down his back.
The man received stitches on his back at Casey Hospital before reporting the incident to police at 11.45pm. Police arrested and charged an 18-year-old woman, who had no fixed address, and she was remanded in custody until 28 October.
