Dog laps up Rotary

A DANDENONG employee and his four-legged friend are the newest members of the Rotary Club of Narre Warren.
John Hardie, who works with the Department of Human Services, and his seeing-eye dog Baron were inducted into the club by President Roger McGill last Wednesday.
Mr Hardie was born visually impaired but said he did not let than hinder him from achieving his goals.
His Rotary sponsor, Phillip McMillan, said Mr Hardie would “fit like a glove” into the club.
“John has a disability but never let that stop him from doing anything and it won’t stop him from participating in the club’s activities,” Mr McMillan said.
Mr McGill said it was one of the highlights during his time at Rotary to induct Mr Hardie as a member of the club and welcome Baron as an honorary member.
