Keys to health

I HAVE to agree with the report (News, 2 February) that there is a lot of fat people around.
You only have to walk around Fountain Gate shops and you see people stuffing their faces at 9.30am in the food court, mostly McDonald’s.
The only good thing about McDonald’s is the ice-cream cone, it’s only 60 cents.
As for the food, I never go near the place or any other takeaway shop.
I like vegetables, fish, yogurt and fruit. I also walk four kilometres every morning, I do not drink or smoke and I don’t see many other people going for a walk.
Derek Gardner,
Hampton Park.
