STUMPS, pads and hats will go pink this week as clubs from around the area do away with the regular colours to support the McGrath Foundation Pink Stumps Day.
The inaugural Pink Stumps Day last year was a great success with 665 clubs uniting to raise over $550,000 for the McGrath Foundation.
With the Pink Test in Sydney now in its fourth year, the McGrath Foundation and Cricket Australia look to again spread the pink, to support breast cancer awareness and to place breast care nurses throughout Australia.
Participating clubs from the area include Berwick, Cranbourne, Doveton, Hallam Kalora Park, Narre South, Narre Warren, Noble Park, Officer and St Marys.
