Last piece of Berwick

LOCALS are clamouring to secure a prime spot in the last developable bank of land with a Berwick postcode. Minta Farm on Soldiers Road includes more than 80 available lots, with Stage One of the brand new development to be released in June.
Around 2000 residents will call Minta Farm home on completion of the project, with all of Melbourne’s major builders involved.
Developed by the renowned Three Pillars and marketed by Stockdale and Leggo, eight different house and land packages are available at Minta Farm. They include all site costs, features such as stone bench-tops, and council fees and regulations.
Driveways and paths to the front door are also included, as are floor coverings in some modes.
A range of packages are up for grabs, from $375,000 to around $650,000. Significantly, those who buy now won’t incur the price rises due in January and June.
Billed as the last of the true Berwick addresses, Minta Farm is close to the central hub of High Street and builds on the true identity of the town.
The former farming land has been in the Baillieu family since the 1920s and has its own lake system that will remain as a key feature of the new estate.
There are three homes on the property, highlighted by the historic homestead which will remain and could be utilised as a community centre, drop-in centre, or café/restaurant at Minta Farm.
The nearby O’Shea Road, which joins Clyde Road and Soldiers Road, will be extended into Minta Farm to provide an even greater level of accessibility.
Currently going through the precinct structure plan, the land is governed by the Growth Area Authority. By the completion of the project, Minta Farm will also boast shopping precincts and a business park similar to those found on Wellington Road.
The Soldiers Road address is close to central Berwick’s café lifestyle and developers promise a range of new shops for the estate.
Buyers into Minta Farm can even lock in their prices today and build next year.
